Interview
Stuart Jacklin
Subject: 1947 Farmall Cub

Willi; "having done such a magnificent job restoring the tractor, were there any surprises ?"

Stu; "I was surprised at how little it needed. The out of pocket money was $250"

Willi; "Was this particular model something that you wanted to do ?"

Stu; "No it just came along."

Willi; "Approximately how long did it take?"

Stu; "I would say about a month, working on it every now and then."

Willi; "To what extent did you tear it down ?"

Stu; "Everything except the transmission and rear-end."

Willi; "Did you have any problems getting parts?"

Stu; "No"

Willi; "How does this tractor compete with, say another of equal size?"

Stu; "These were manufactured for small market gardens, they could go between the rows without damaging the vegetables."

Willi; "Thank you Stuart for taking the time to inform us on how you were able to restore the impossible." Stuart likes a challenge and it is incredible what he is able to accomplish in his small workshop.
